This bakery in Saudi Arabia trusts its customers to pay through donations only

If you needed a little faith restored in humanity, this is it.

This bakery in Mecca, Saudi Arabia uses a ‘trust box’, which gives customers the option to donate instead of paying a set price for their food.

The owner of the bakery, Ghazi Hassan Tass trusts his customers so much that he doesn’t even employ cashiers.

“There are no monitors, no cameras, even the employees don’t look at the customer.”

The trust box, which is opened up every month, tends to equal what Ghazi would have earned were he to have used cashiers instead.

“And for those who can’t afford to buy it, it’s for free.”
