Let’s make one thing clear, this is no ordinary supercar.
The Zarooq Motors SandRacer 500GT is a whip designed for desert life.
The two-seater, rear-wheel drive with a 6.2L V8 engine pushes out a serious 525 horsepower with 660Nm of torque.
Despite the car’s gnarled appearance, it only weighs 1,200 kilograms.
Oh, but it’ll cost you, with a price tag set at Dhs1.7 million. And there is only a limited amount available.
The carbon-fibre body is created in Belgium, while the hand-stitched leather interior is thanks to company Mansory in Germany – a brand that works with the likes of Rolls Royce and Lamborghini.
Inside the car you’ll find a roll cage designed by Spanish company Campos Racing, with the overall production of the car split between the UAE and Monaco.
“Zarooq Motors makes supercars that are unique since you can take them on a weekend track day or for a luxurious commute in the city but also on any off-road terrain, even the toughest dunes of the Arabian Desert where they were born,” Zarooq Motors executive Mohammed Al Qadi told The National.
